QUERI welcomes Miho Hatori (ex-Cibo Matto, NYC) to East Providence
in celebration of a rad venue, Myrtle, opening up shop this fall!

Baby Baby is a pseudo concept, garage-pop, art-rock project made of three fweaky BFFS utilizing low-tech gear to make simple structured danceable songs.

Miho Hatori is a Japanese singer, songwriter, and musician best known as a solo artist, co-founder of Cibo Matto (yeah!), and as the first person to provide the voice of Noodle in Gorillaz. Hatori—who creates a “composite sound that is detailed without ever getting bogged down (Pitchfork)—has worked with Beastie Boys, Handsome Boy Modeling School, and recently did sound design for John Kline’s show at The Whitney Museum. This is maybe her first ever solo gig in the area.

DJ Robert Rhymin’ (Ben Sisto) is an artist based in Providence. Ben will be using items from the QUERI inventory to help select tunes for the evening. QUERI is Rhode Island’s largest archive of decision paralysis relief tools. 

Myrtle is a new multi-use bar and venue located at 134 Waterman Ave in East Providence, RI, just 3 miles from downtown Providence. Shows at Myrtle are free, and availability in the 150 capacity space is first come, first served. Plenty of street parking is available. Restaurants are within walking distance and food trucks are often in the parking lot.
